Default Countershaft/chain length question

If I wanted to toss on a 15 tooth countershaft sprocket, do you think I would have to go with a longer chain, or could I get the extra with an adjustment like I did with the 13 toother?

Loosen up the axle slide it forward and see if you can skip a link on the rear sprocket with the slack.
