Kind of like the forth of July but instead of turkey we consume masses of snags, yabbies, cray, beef steak, pork belly, wombat, kangaroo, emu, come to think of it anything that moves and tastes OK with sauce will be BBQ down here on Australia day. 50 laps of the local neighborhood in the ute with flags flyin', burnout on every corner. A dip in the pool or a swim at the beach to tickle some sharks. Plenty of liquid refreshment and a game of cricket. Not necessarily in that order.

The raising of the Union Jack there symbolised British occupation of the eastern half of the continent claimed by Captain James Cook on 22 August in 1770."

Just surfacing on an other bloody freezing typical Canadian day winter like, have a big stack of KTM 's on the bonfire, even not burning the orange gives off a sense of heat and comfort and well being. Anyway thought the Australian national anthem was:
Ausrtalia, Australia
We love you Amen, followed by a quick salute and a quick get away. Sure I saw that on Monty Python so it must be true?

I am now growing and selling authenticated Al Gore Wottles, autographed and authenticated by the official moron himself, LOL. Funny thing is, if I put this up on e-bay probably make a mint.
