Hadn't read that one. Awesome job finger. The NX bike, was that the 650 model?
Had the same weird late night howling monkey experience in Khao Sok, Thailand. Gibbons not howlers though. Scary sounds in the jungle. Wooohahahaha.

Cool!! You took almost the same route My wife and I took in a rented Izuzu 4x4 in 1990. Those river crossings were a blast. My son had his second birthday on that trip.
I think a bike would be more fun though. Back then they went over the rental vehicles with a fine tooth comb so I had some major cleaning to do before I took it back. I think we had it for a week and it cost 400 US.

Thanks for the memories and a great TR

I'm new to riding. Have had my 09 KLX, my first bike ever, for only about 1 1/2 months. Usually I just lurk here, read everyone's posts, but I am was moved by this ride report. That must have been an awesome experience. Like I said, I am new to riding. I'm 38 years old and wish, more that ever after seeing this ride report, that I bought my bike years ago. Very inspirational.

That is FREAKIN' AWESOME!

You know, I'm not one to become easily jealous. I've done a lot in life and have been many places, and live comfortably and enjoy a few toys. If I see a guy in a Viper, well, that's nice and all, but I'm not jealous. I assume he earned it and go about life. I know that one day, I may be in such a position. I'd love to own one, but I'm not jealous.

Well, here -- I'M JEALOUS AS HELL! I could only dream of doing such a trip. That, indeed, looks like the trip of a lifetime.

Awsome report, awesome pictures. I want to punch my monitor in a fit of jealous rage. :-)
