dayum mullet. that's making me miss the time I spent in CR and let me say, that's a one cool report- BUT -dang dude, you are either completely wacko or needed a tank bag to hold your cajones for doing that trip solo.

great stuff FM.... those monkeys would freak me out.... looks like a blast... id say that bike needs a skid plate, gonna knock a hole in the case.... great pics.... very jealous.

quick question, how did you manage to speak with the locals? can you speak spanish or were there enough people who could understand you?

Great report!
I made the unfortunate choice to return fire on a small group of monkeys that threw fruit at me one evening on a trip thru Central America a few years back. I wound up running for my life as more monkeys came out of the woodwork and switched to heavier artillery (rocks). I sure love much of the scenery and people in those countries.
