If you are still having trouble, start over. In other words:

1. Shut off the gas
2. Drain the bowl (Allen screw on the bottom of the bowl)
3. Open up the gas to let in fresh stuff
4. Pull the choke
5. Watch it start right up.

I have been looking for a "protector" for the steel brake line on the front wheel. I saw yours in the photo and need to know where you got it ? Do you have a link to the source?
Thanks for your posting of the nice picture.

I have a noob question: Why will your fork seals get hosed up by having the bike tied down in a truck? What will happen? Will the fork tubes over/under travel?

Hey Deej, good to see 'ya' again! Did you notice that there are two protectors? An upper and a lower. The lower one, as you have noted, has the "K" logo on it!

That's cool and practical! Now if we can get our response, maybe we can get some needed protection.... hunh?

Its just hard on the seals from what I have read and been told. Here are a couple of links to shed light or add to the confusion depending on how you look at it.

I'm interested in this, or maybe we just need to change out the brake line with a SS cable and get rid of the annoying rubber line that is always in the way of the tachometer. Kill two birds with one stone.

For the life of me I can't understand why the designers of these bikes have the steel portion of the brake line hanging down below the end of the left fork tube. . . seems like it would eventually strike a rock/root/something and BANG. . . there goes your front brakes!

Thanks guys. Deej glad you like it.....again lol. Here's the original thread. https://www.kawasakiforums.com/forum...ad.php?t=21071
They are home-made jobbies, a little more finished than the 4x4 cedar post I use to keep the forks from compressing when the bike is strapped down. Dan
