Clutch not disengaging ,
I rebuilt my clutch when i had the bike apart with a EBC dirt racer clutch kit.
Now the clutch will not disengage when i pull the lever in. I have popped the clutch back out and all seems ok. Just wondered if you guys had come across this before ?
Cheers
George

There is a conical spring washer that must be installed with the concave surface facing the clutch hub.

When the spring bolts are tight should the coil springs be completely bound ? I have had it apart 3 times now and cannot see the problem. I have checked the cable (as its new also) Last time i got it to slip a little by revving the engine and holding the brake. (bike on jack) but if i lower the revs engine stalls.

Got it, The clutch plates were sticking on the splines i think. I assembled it again and ried turning the engine by hand. And the clutch plates all clicked into place. working fine now. Got my first ride with the BB kit. WOOO HOO , what a difference.
