Yeah that makes perfect sense in your case. My time is spent on the tarmac, so my biggest worry is soccer moms and the Japanese mentality that whoever has the larger vehicle has right of way.

Oh, and a few months ago I still had my tinted visor on when it started to get dark and I couldn't make out some gravel on the side of the road. Nice, slow mo low side to a stop, picked-up the bike, was glad to see no gawkers, then continued on my merry way.

I've spent and do spend considerable time in Tokyo and the surounding areas, I know what you mean and wouldn't drive/ride there for anything. Although, last year I was on my way to Yugawara (sp) from the Wasada area for a several week training mission and we stopped at a rest area (only one I noticed) and there in the parking lot was KLX250s, I thought it was the coolest thing to see.
