Cheese coutry trail ride#2
I had planned to ride in the Leaf River DS ride today, but since it was postponed, and the weather was nice, I decided to get another ride out of the Cheese Country trail sticker I bought earlier this year ( June ride https://www.kawasakiforums.com/forum...ad.php?t=29091). I'm cheap so it felt good to get another use out of the sticker
.
I loaded the bike on the hitch carrier and headed for Monroe WI.
The trail is on an old rail bed, so not too exciting, but nice for cruising.
Almost all the leaves have fallen here now.

Same spot summer and fall.

In certain spots the trail is paved and has a low speed limit. In these spots it looks like the nearby homeowner must have had objections to the railbed being converted to a busy trail, and the paving and speed limits were concessions made by the trail comission.

After that my camera died! I have had some bad luck with my cameras these last two weeks. Last weekend on the Bucky ride my beater point and shoot camera locked up in the middle of the ride. Today about a quarter of the way into the ride the battery on my good camera died. I missed some good pictures, but it was nice to just ride and not stop for shots..

Excellent!
When I purchased my KLX I had no idea that so many people rode them and that there was a whole subculture devoted to dual sporting.
I met some guys and one gal in my subdivision last night that I first spotted heading out yesterday morning in a group of four for a sunday run.
They were hoping that we get to meet up as they've seen me running around the neighborhood on my bike.
I've got an invite for next weekend to join them weather permitting.
Adventure lays ahead!
