I was told a couple of months. I hope it's ready for summer. I was riding yesterday, the roads clean and dry. Today theres snow on the ground... I hate winter.

I sent off the wiring harness and old school CDI yesterday, it should be in their hands to begin by this weekend.

FWIW I think I would be interested also depending on cost. What does one for another bike cost? Anyone know?

Default Contacted AMR Racing you can too

I took a look at their site and to answer my question it looks like the boxes from them go from $50 to just over $100.

It also looks like most of their prices are slashed. I am wondering if this is marketing or they are getting out of the CDI buisness???? They apear to be focused on killer graphics.

I sent them an email via the contact link http://amrracing.com/contact.htm -asked if they were still working on a box for the KLX250s and told them I was interested if they were. -forgot to ask about dual curve so if any of you decide to use this link and contact/encourage them you may want to ask about that.

I will let you know what I hear back if I hear back from them.

Cheers Jim

Thanks FKG228.
Good read. I think I fired a few nuerons that have been dormant since navy nuke power school. Hope he succeeds.
If anyone that is a member of that forum wants to let Dan know I have a crimping tool set for the Deutz connectors like shown in the photos on page 3 that I would send him for $free including shipping. I kind of doubt Ill be using them.
Was wondering if his CDI could be set up to be wasted spark upon cranking then after it senses RPM stabilize at Idol it could kill everyother spark and look for RPM to drop if no drop then it killed the wasted spark. If drop then it switches to other spark? Should be able to be programed in?
Cheers Jim
