I wonder if they will include the use of the TPS on the 06-07 KLX?

Nope....there's no tps on an FCR.

I'd like one.

Didn't you get the memo on the TPS reports?

If there is no way to make it work with my stock carburetor (with the TPS) I'm out.

Good gawd Gerty! Do you think the bike will drop dead without the TPS?

Try unplugging your TPS for awhile and noting the difference. I'd be willing to bet you will feel little to no difference at all.... Especially if you have done all of your basic mods...and I'm DEAD CERTAIN that any remotely possible value the TPS might have had with your very tame, stock CDI will completely vanish with a the more aggressive timing curve of the CDI being built.

I'm running an earlier Japanese CDI wich has an additional 10degBTDC over stock, along with many of my riding buds, who are running the same CDI with the CVK carb. The CDI I speak of doesn't even have a TPS input. Nobody misses the TPS. That should tell you something.

I was just wondering about it.

Just my opinion, I find the TPS does make a very slight difference.

Does the '09 have a connector on the left side of the carb with a white plug on the end? Most of the later model CVK's have this plug, but like stated above, it makes a "very" small difference with the stock CDI, and won't be noticed at all with the old school CDI like Tremor and I have, or with the new one being made.
