What's your elevation? I'm at 2800 ft or so and had the DJ 124 in after dropping down from the 128 which was WAY too rich. I would have tried the 120, but put in a 351 kit instead. Agreed it sounds like you're rich on the idle.

 

A little less than 2800ft elevation here. When I was still in Utah I had the smaller jet with the q4exhaust and the motor was very happy, guess my bike just likes less fuel. Bike pulls great now, will actually pull a wheelie without having to work hard for it which is a big change
