Default carb problems

I have a vulcan 750 that has set for 5 years? It idols but when given throttle bogs down. If I spray gas in the carb it will rev right up. I thought i would do a carb kit on it for lack of fuel? I cannot get the carbs out from between the heads. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.....

sounds like intermediat jets clogged, there deep in a bore and can be stuborn to remove,it takes a very small straight tip screwdriver to remove them, if slots become damaged you sometimes can use a very small easy out to grab the jet with minimal damage,if they are clogged they will do exactly what you are describing, it will idle fine but bog when trying to throttle, good luck.let me know how you make out. tom

Loosen the seating rings and pull hard, I know mine are hard to get off and I remove them quite a lot. I push and pull on them pretty hard until I feel them starting to give and then use steady pull to get them off.

Sounds like your pilot jets or restricted, you should tear them down and clean everything.
