Just had a question I checked before I posted and some threads on here said you can’t change the connecting rod on the 2009 klx 250 crank but instead have to get a used one, is this true ? My got bend .

Can't buy parts from Kawasaki. You could contact a company like Falicon and see if they can supply parts or what it would cost for them to do the crank in comparison to buying one from Kawasaki. Can't hurt to see. I know my friend used to have his H2 two stroke triple cranks built and trued by them.

When my 351 lunched the big-end bearing about 5 years ago I investigated whether anyone serviced the crank, even sent it to a specialty crank repair service and no luck. Don't know if anything has changed since then but I suspect not.

Carillo is a maker of rods, maybe they might have something by now, could be for a KLX300 as well, unless the e-start crank is different.
