I need a clutch cable just about an inch longer.
Aftermarket is expensive to make a custom cable (Motion Pro)
Can anyone tell me if the KLX300 or another model STOCK cable is just a bit longer, and will fit at both ends?

For both the clutch and throttle!

 

Or if there's an oem cable from another manufacturer that will work?

 

KX450 shows a different part number(45011-0095 @ $24.09)
than the KLX250(45011-0093 @ $20.27)
Maybe it's a little longer???
Anyone have a KX450 or access to one to check out the cable?

I had the same issue when I put on a new Pro Taper bar, clutch cable about an inch too short. I've got a 2010 KLX 250 S. Noticed that the pre-2009 clutch cable has a different part number. Took a chance and ordered an earlier year clutch cable, it worked out great.

 

Any chance of getting a measurement of the 2 cables?

 

The one I got for my '07 is about 46 1/4 inches long with about an 80 degree bend about 13 inches from the bottom (clutch end). I bought two so the one I measure is still in the package.
