Default Burkhart Cycle

I would like to retract an earlier post regarding Burkhart Cycle. I posted that I was disappointed in them and thought I had lost my money. As it turned out it was the Postal Service.

I sent a money order on the 5th of October for a set of lowering links. On the 12th I e-mailed them to see if the money order was received. They told me it had and they had mailed the links.

By the 19th I had still not received them so e-mailed again. They said they would look into it. I checked again on the 22nd, 25th, and still nothing. By the 27th I had given up and considered it a loss. Low and behold the links showed up in the mail on the 30th. The date mailed, printed on the envelope was the 10th.

Now I know the mail is slow but 20 days was ridicules. They were mailed Priority Mail with an estimated delivery time of 2 - 3 days.

Bottom line is Burkhart Cycle did their part and in a very timely manner. It was the Post Office that dropped the ball.

My apologies and thanks to Burkhart Cycle.

I have a set of links that have been due from them for about a month. I've long-since given up. Maybe they'll be in the mail when I get home.

I've never had that issue with the post office on priority mail, definitely a fluke. I've mailed several hundred packages with none in the U.S. lost and none really late like that.

I've also had good experience shipping overseas, but have had a few of the other country's customs units hold parts up for stupid periods of time. If they're going to screw with it, cut it open, look at the metal, tape it up and send it on!

I never did receive mine, but Burkhart did refund my money. Unfortunately I did have to bother him a few times to get it done. I don't know if I was getting a runaround or not.
