Cycle world
I'm not an expert but I wasn't real happy with the March issue of cycle world when I read the article on the 250S. They don't think much of the suspension or the ground clearance. I haven't seen a better off-road dual sporter yet but maybe I am missing something? We all know it could use a little more power, which will happen with the mods everybody is discussing, maybe I am being too defensive. Anybody else read the article?

RE: Cycle world
Crash,
Remember this; you read it in Cycle World. The fact that they even talked about the KLX250S is something quite special! Let's be honest, the KLX250S is NOT a sportbike and it is a Kawasaki. Two reasons why I am surprised that Cycle World even had anything about the bike to begin with. BTW, I don't subscribe to Cycle World as in my opinion, they have one of, if not the worst cycle based magazine on the newstand.

RE: Cycle world
Every bike has its critics but I have been riding long enough to know that this is a great bike!! It is no motorcrosser nor sport bike but a very nice dual sport!!! I think the power, suspension, brakes, weight, and price make this a great 250. All anyone would have to do is read the forums here. All of us that post here CANT be wrong.. Love this bike..

RE: Cycle world
Don't believe it, this bike is just plain fun! Even if you don't put stock in the voices of everyone here, it's hard to deny the fun to be had riding the road (legally) to your favorite off-road spot and then digging into the dirt for some serious off-road fun. And the ride back home is fun too :-)
