Broken Frame klx250s

Posts 12 and 14 on this page - https://www.kawasakiforums.com/forum...g-42998/page2/ - explain what happened to cause the damage shown in post 17 above. I'd say the KLX frame is pretty tough.

The broken frame stinks. It is definitely not a normal failure point...but it's not the first KLX to break there. Back in the day, that was the area where hopped up KLX300R race bikes would have reinforcing plates welded on to the sides of the frame to avoid breaking the frames. I think if that complex welded seam at the front of the frame isn't done quite right from the factory, it's a prime location for a fatigue failure.
