Default Bridgestone trailwings

Anyone running/have run these tires, particularly the TW301 and TW302? What did you think of them?

Same tire I was going to get. Everybody else seemed to suggest to stay away from them. So I went with Kenda K270's. Love them so far and are wearing good after 500miles.

I dont recall what exact model my 650L had but it had some kind of Trail Wings as OEM & they were nothing to write home about.

My 2006 Super Sherpa had TW301 and TW302 as the stock tires... Not great at all. Really bad in the loose gravel, not great in the mud, fine on the street I guess.

I have the TW302 and its great IMO. Have almost 3000 miles on it with 40% tread still remaining.
I have placed an order for a new just to have on hand but they are on backorder with a long wait expected.

Ah, that's 1 positive and 3 negatives. I've researched this tire and can't seem to find reviews of it anywhere. I hate to spend that kind of money, but it's looking like (for a premium tire)the conti tkc80's are the way to go. Thanks for all the input.

With the KLX, before you get the TKCs, why dont you get the 606's, that tire was made for our bikes, they don't wear as fast as the stock 603s, and they really dig in the mud, dirt, etc...

I put too many miles on the tarmac for the 606...I would rather give up mud (not much around here), sand, and some rock and gravel performance to get better cornering and braking...especially braking..on the pavement. The tires best suited to my situation seem to be the IRC GP-1s or the Conti TKC80's.
