Default Bridgestone update

At 4000 miles of use I can say I'm happy with my Bridgestone 302. Great 50/50 tire. I think I could go another 1500 on the road. But I'm going on a poker run today, so fresh rubber is needed.

Where did you buy the tires from? How do the tires handle in the sand do thay handle better than stock or the kenda 270's?

I'm also interested in how it performs both on road and off. My 603 is more than half gone and I need a good 50/50 tire. I'm a little leary of the 270's after reading various posts on their road manners but these look pretty similar to the 603s.

thats the first i saw that tire, i like it alot. and with 4,000 miles on it! I think that might be my next tire, i have the kenda 270 on the rear. Thats a 50/50 tire? It seems alot more aggressive than the kenda 270.

ok i just checked the price of that tire... um.. yea, from bikebandit.com its 75$ thats alot compared to the 50$ for the kenda 270... is that what you paid around $75?

You can also get thru tires unlimited I paid 65.00 If I recall. I just installed it and now have over 500 miles on it. I love it its great on and off road I have not single tracked with it yet but I do know Tony has had no problems with it in single track. Even in the thickest of mud he gets good traction and it cleans out real well. I looked at it like this 50 to 60 dollars every 2000 miles or 65 to 90 every 4000 plus miles ads up the same. I would recomend this tire to any one in a heart beat very happy

I'll start by saying, I'm not a dirt biker and my expectations may not be as high as a racers'. I have not had any bad situation with this tire. Rode all seasons, rain, snow, frost, mud, sandy roads(not deep sand), creek beds, gravel, babyhead boulders, hot asphalt and whatever else I can't remember. On the wet grass... not so hot, on the street...never thought much about it. That must be a good thing. Definite 8 for my needs. $80 and a good 5000mi tire.

From AMT.....BRIDGESTONE TW302 4.60-18 REAR TT $58.82
Soon as I scrape together the funds this will be my next tire I'm pretty sure, either that or the Maxxis C6006
