You might not need the larger pilot honestly. i would see how it runs with the stock 35.

i got the main bumped up NP from 128 to 132..

have a q4 pipe on with snorkel top removed. ran fine before.

What is your altitude? I'm at roughly 800ft above sea level and I bumped up to the 38 pilot.

Those jet prices are twice as much as I paid. I got mine right at the kawasaki dealership and the main jets were $2.75 and the pilot was $3.95.

yeah, my local kawi dealer didnt have the pilotjet... 4 dealerships called and none had it.. go figure..

soooo,,

the P.o. used a heli coil on the camshaft cap.. when to put it back on and the bolt jsut kep spinning in palce... backed it out and a helicoil came out with it... anyone have any good ideas for a good fix? Another heli coil? tap it to a size larger?

Wow! I'd call and thank the PO for sticking you with that mess.

Sounds like he didnt install the Helicoil correctly. I'm no expert, but I would try to install another one of the same size. If it won't stay in place see about going to the next bigger size.
Good thing you caught that before it went catastrophic.
