Default Bike Storage

well it's been less than a month since I picked it up and its gotta get stored for a few months while I go overseas. My question to YOU guys is this: since it's only gonna be 2 months of me not using it and it sitting on a stand in the garage, what kinda stuff do I need to do to it in order to minimize any headaches on the other end? I'm assuming fuel stabilizer and drain the carb but is there anything else you guys recommend?

How about a battery tender? You can pick them up pretty reasonably and they're great because they only charge when the battery gets low.

I would give it a good bath to get the mud and stuff off it and then lube the chain so it doesn't rust or dry up on ya then lube it again in a couple months when you get home before you ride it...
