Loud as a Muzzy but not as loud as my Two Bros. Neilaction has one, works well.

Yeh, I've got the insert but i don't use it.
There are 2 cores for the BG system.
Race and quiet. I have the race core.

Here is the quiet core with the half circle bits welded to the mesh

The race core is straight through.

Then on top of that there is an Vortex insert that slides behind the end cap.

I'm happy with it but IMO the 2 brothers slip on sound better.

Mine sounds good plonkin around in the woods, but at steady higher rpms on the road (with lower gear) it gets kinda noisy. It's right at 92db at idle on my meter. The bigger head pipe, vs my 300 exhaust also trades a little low end punch away for better (quicker) rev when "on the cam". It's a whole bunch lighter than stock though.
