So i emailed about 351 kit asking about payment and jetting info. He didnt really give me much info on where to start for jetting and he only takes western union or money gram transfers. Does this sound like him, i figured he would give me a bit more on jetting setting?

That sounds strange. You should call and speak with him directly.
He took my personal check if I recall correctly and suggested two up on the primary jet, maybe one up on the pilot.

 

That's why i wanted to post that here, the email matches but he didn't sounds very helpful with the jetting info.

 

stock carb? At sea level my DJ140main with the needle on 2N works damn good and got me 64mpg on today's fill-up.

 

I'd look into that, Bill used paypal and returned my core charge via paypal. He did mention the 3% paypal charge so he MAY have changed his online business practice.
I did find him to be much briefer in email correspondence, but when you talk to him in person he is a prince!

Yup I used paypal when getting my kit. He indicated going two up on the main jet from where I was previously.
I picked it up in person and left my cylinder at the same time.
He is a wealth of information and knowledge when you get talking to him.

 

Bill told me there is a scam going on - if you see anything about money gram or western union.... stop.

he only accepts paypal and money order.
