Sorry, thought you got my PM. I'm the last guy your going to get a simple let alone straight answer from but I'll try, just this one time though - Personally, I'd stick with the 120/90.

Mark,
Didn't get the pm. We all gathered this info.... haha Is that the 130 and why don't you thinks it is better than the 120. i am riding in a lot of sand these days and think the wider tire might do better. FYI i am a very persistant person and will get it out of you one way or the other......... Just kidding.

More info please

thanks

Wider is better except when it comes to women! For riding in sand, nothing beats a paddle tire dude!

I put on a Pirelli MT21 last fall. Great tire so far, especially in the Wisconsin north woods sand.

KLXelent, I'll to try an answer your question about the Dunlops - the difference between the Dunlop D606 rear 120/90 and the 130/90 is this: The 130 is a little wider (5.20 vs. 4.80) but lower than the 120 (26.80 vs. 26.30). Dunlop recommends a rim that is 2.75" for the 130. I went for the 120 mainly for the height increase but if you're looking for slightly more traction go with the 130. My friend Dave has them on his KLX and loves them but I haven't seen him do anything that I can't do either in the sand or dirt with the extra width - so it's your call dude!

For my second tire I installed the Dunlop 120, and it fit in there just fine, and in fact I wondered how rocks, mudand sticks could even get back out if I would have gone with the 130. The 120 in my opinion is the supreme tire for the KLX period. I do know someone that put the 130 on his 03 KLR and it rubbed on the exhaust when the suspension came down and in fact it burned he ***** off flat on that side. Yea yea yea I know the KLR is not a KLX but it is sometimes better to go with the recommended tire, after all its recommended for a reason. Kind of like doctors recommending me to stop eating bacon......well that's a bad example because I didn't listen to that one.[8D][8D][8D]
