Who makes the best all around back tire for soft, intermediate and hard surfaces and what is the largest tire anyone is running on the stock KLX250S?

 

I have had good luck with the trackmaster. I don't think it handles that bad on the road either. I am running the 110 rear but the 120 has been proven to fit.

 

Either the Dunlop 606 or the Kenda K270. They both work well for the hard to intermediate stuff. Soft surface tend to be less than pleasure to drive on.

 

I find a 120x90x18 in the Dunlap 606, is that what you are referring to? It has very positive reviews..

 

Your not going to find a tire thats the best for everything..... i have had 606, kends 270, and right now i have the trakmaster... it depends on what your doing, if you going to do alot of muddy stuff stay away from the 270, but if its alot of hard pack/ fire road gravel 270 should be fine, the 606 wasa great tire, did good in sand, mud and hard pack, but was not as aggressive asi need now, so i switched to the trakmaster.

Dunlop Special "Beefy" Edition D606's!

 

They're not available in Kentucky and only come in BS sizes!

I concur, (that means agree to the slower members) Just kidding, but the Dunlop 606 in my opinion is the best tire ever. I will definitely getting another one after the Kenda wears out........if it ever wears out that is.
