I got a Garmin Vista HCx and it has all the same features as the gpsmap60csx. same antenna and everything. The vista has buttons on the side, but the gpsmap60 has them on the front. I like my vista alot, i got it for $180 on walmart.com. Works good in the truck too.

Its not the same antenna, the Etrex does not have the hi sensitivity antenna. Trust me I was able to use both models while hunting this year, and the satellites on the 60CSx were full all the time, and my etrex had maybe 2 because of the tree canopy plus mine would lose sat signal all the time, very irritating. GRRRR Sorry Eric, but no comparison,

Hahahaha good times!

Well its been on there for nearly 2 years, rain or shine...(mostly shine) Went through wash after wash, bumpy trails....but I have to admit on my Oregon back country trips I did leave it at home along with the post office key. It really doesn't bounce around, I mean come on, I'm not exactly doing 40 ft tabletops with the bike right? LOL

Oh c'mon, deej! No big drops or tabletops? You need to step it up. Here's a pic of me from this Christmas weekend doing a big drop on my bike. Notice the big Christmas tree in the background. Yeah!...I got some skills!

Ok before I get totally flamed here I have a retraction. It seems that I know nearly nothing about GPS models. I have been corrected by a member on here that remains anonymous but who's opinion I value a lot. We'll call him "Blane" I stand corrected in that the HCx does have the good antenna, and so I will shut my pie hole and not pretend to know what I am talking about...LOL?

Sorry EMS, I mean I could have edited, but I think its important to admit your mistakes, and so it looks like I was finally wrong about something. I mean it was bound to happen eventually right?

Ok carry on troops.
