Army the next up is the #38. I talked to Bill Sunday and he told me what he posted here,"Whatever your running now, go up one on pilot and two on main" I already have the #38 pilot in my carb after puttin on the slipon, so I guess I will try the #40 pilot and the #135 main. ?

Right , not too expensive. I have done the same and bought more than the one I thought I needed.

Dan, are you at sea level? I've got the 132 main in right now but I haven't verified it's the right one. Hopefully it is. I'll put the 38 or maybe jump right into the 40 on the pilot. I always thought that maybe I should have gone up one on the pilot prior to the 351 install so the 40 might be right on. I'll let you know.

Rockford is at 750 ft.
I may order a 40 pilot and then a 132 135 138 mains. I want to look around on here and see what others are at before I order. I want extras so I can drop down when I take the bike to higher elevations out west.
I have to look and see what jets I already have, because I did order sizes over/under what I thought I needed when I put the FMF on. Definitely follow up with what works for you. Cousin Larry's set up should be similar to what would work for you.

Keep in mind that the different companies number their jets a little differently. A Keihin 135 is different than a Dynojet 135. So raise your jet size according to the brand you already have.

Ok, my bike seems to be running fine, lots of power, doesn't seem to have any flat spots (although I have not had it WOT yet as it's still breaking in), but I am getting some popping on decel. It had the popping when I ran the 35 (stock) pilot jet and it still has it with the 40 pilot jet. I've adjusted the A/F all the way up and all the way down but I keep getting popping. Any thoughts on this? It's driving me crazy.

I have new plugs over the smog stuff (carb and airbox) and they seem to be good. I also have the exhaust tightened down really well.

Any thoughts would be appreciated!

I pop on decel too - mainly if I'm going down a hill and dragging the motor.. I've accepted it as I've tried a few different combos with the carb settings and nothing ever stopped it.

If you figure something out let me know. Mine's been like that since early 08 when I put the kit on with no probs if it makes any difference.

Did you install the block off plate that was sent with your kit? This always stops the popping at low speed deceleration.

Hi Bill, yes I have the block off plate installed. Do you think it could be leaking? I didn't use any sealant when I put it on.

Larry, it's not a bad pop but it's annoying...
