Default Bars... Choices for 6'1" Tall

OK I have some Noob questions about Bars.

Oversized 1-1/8" handlebar is extremely strong and lighter than standard bars
Does this mean the diameter of the bar is not stock?
Or is this another thing?

CR High Bend...
MX High Bend...
Uhhhh? Wow, this seems cryptic to the noob.

I'm Tall what bend gives better reach? How much reach can I expect?
I'd like more reach but do not want Money Hangers on my dirt bike

Is there an informative "thing" to read?
What bars do you run for your height?

Thanks.

6'0. Run the ones in my sig'. If you wana run taller get some risers for your bars. 20mm is a good start. I can stand on the pegs in comfort with mine for plenty of miles.

on a 1 1/8" bar, it's thicker where it mounts in the triple clamps. You can buy an adapter/ riser that will allow you to use the thicker bars. They are standard size where the grips and throttle go on at the ends.

RMATV has a nice chart on the different bar specs.

Here's the adapters I was talking about...

FWIW, I run these with a CR high bend, and it's a lot more comfortable standing up. I'm 6' 2".

Thanks for the links. Way helpful!!

I atttempted to measure mine based on the Drawing...

Hmmm I must not quite have it yet.
Because at 4.25" mine are taller than the average CR High bend at 3.75"

I measured from the center to the center of the crossbar and that was 2.25"

I'll keep looking. A stock spec would shed some light if anybody has a spec.

Does the 1.125" bar taper back to the stock diameter or do you need new grips, mounts, etc etc etc.

thanks

Hey thanks for the excellent diagram! As for the 1.125 bar, it does go back to stock diameter.
