Put the #35 back in.
Keep the 118 main jet.
With the #35 you can forget about an adjustable fuel screw and the hassle of burning your fingers from trying to fiddle with it all the time.

NEVER mod or "tune" a CVK for an altitude that is higher than the altitude the bike lives at.
CVK's cannot self-adjust for lower altitudes, only higher altitudes.

For bikes that are :
1.Running a snorkel on the airbox -
2.Using a CVK that is stock or "set up" for a MUCH lower altitude than currently riding -
Such bikes/engines will get additional help with operating well at high altitudes via closeable airbox vents. Open the vents at the higher alts, close them when at home.

I deserved to be scolded! Running rich, even more so at altitude, no wonder! I had recently cleaned my filter, but hadn't realized my last four rides were so dusty.

The bike now seems to run fine; clean filter, slip-on exhaust, drilled slide, stock jetting. Dare I go to a larger idle jet for a bit more pop of idle?
