Back for more abuse :P 2007 KLX250s
Howdy and hello to all the members on Kawasaki Forums. I return to you after a good chunk of time without a kawasaki between my legs. I went to the dark side and bought a 2008 Wr250r...
Someone thought that fuel injection would be a fun rabbit hole to dive down, as well as a 4600 (cad) price tag (used).......then came the mods :/
I'm back in the saddle with a 2007 KLX250s, mostly stock. P.O added a taller linkage to the swingarm and a gen2 front fender. 13000 original Kilometers, paid 2500 Canadian Dollars. Feeling pretty happy about the purchase, having previously owned a 2010 klx250sf and a 2009 klx250s so I know what I'm getting into.
It's been a while, and I have alot of work to do on this bike to get it up to snuff so the next couple weeks should be fun!

Yeah, the '06/'07 models are my favorite. I'm an '06 owner. My friends have WR250R's, because there's not much used availability around my area for KLX's. The WR250R is a great bike. I like the slight addition to suspension travel of the older KLX's. I also like the simplicity of a carb, but I am not an FI hater by any means. I've even installed FI to a couple of my older modded autos. On the KLX, however, I like the carb...just not so much the original carb as I installed a 36-pumper. Have fun with it.

Never will have a fuel pump fail on a KLX w/carb. With proper jetting it will start like EFI unless it sits long enough for the gas in the carb to go bad. No problem either way for me, although I've never owned an EFI bike.
