Anyone running a Ims tank on there 09 or newer? How's the fit and finish? Thanks

I have the IMS 3.0 on my '09... it was on it when I bought it, so I don't know if the original fitment has been tweaked, but quality and fit look good to me.

Going to big bore this winter so was thinking another gallon will be nice.

Yup, I put the IMS tank on my 2010 as soon as IMS started selling them. Fit's perfect, using stock radiator shrouds and all. Very easy installation and all the bits to fit it came with the tank as a kit so no need to buy anything more.

I also put an IMS tank on my 09 this summer.
Fit and finish is great and I could still use my Unibiker rad guards.
Nice to have the extra fuel capacity.

Put the IMS on my 2011 this summer... Easy to do and fits well, you do have to bore out the holes in the plastics a bit, but not too hard..

I also changed the stock vent hose (which is just a regular hose out of gas cap) to a one way valve one... I didn't want gas spilling out when I went over lol

I'm interested in getting this tank for my 2012, but I also want to get radiator guards.

Does anyone know of any guards that are compatible with this tank?

I have Scorpion rad guards on mine, zero issues fitting. the only thing is if you change your rad cap to one with ears, it's snug to the tank but doable.

Hey brother, With my IMS 3.0, I've also got a set of the Unabiker rad guards...

They were on my '09 when I bought it, so I don't know if there were any fitment issues..... but discovering some of the other things the PO did, there must not have been any major problems...LOL
