My bike ran better when I removed the screen and the spark arrestor in the pipe. Gave that little bit extra airflow to lean up the midrange. Worth it for me.

I thought the benefit was negligible and not worth the time but I'll give it a try considering your experience. Besides I'm running out of things to tinker with. Thanks...
