Default Another Vortex Throttle ?

I got my Motion Pro Vortexthrottle today andtest fit the stock cable into the throttle to find out the cable adjusterand throttle are different pitch threads. The throttle is a coarser thread. The cable adjuster will thread part way in only. I tried anadjuster I had from another throttle set up that hada coarser thread and it fit the throttle perfect. I have a 300 but the part numbers for the stock throttleis the same as the 250S so the cable adjuster must be the same thread as well.To those that have used the Vortex throttle are you just partially threading the adjuster into the throttle? I'm not sure I liked the way it fit. The part number of the throttle I received is 57-1123 and bin number A03-C05.

I noticed that too when trying to asjust it. If you put to much tention it would slip. Just push (thread) it all the way into the housing & make all the adjustment down at the carb--works fine.

Thanks KLXer, that's what I was afraid of. I'm trying to find a "stock" cable, from any application, that is the correct sizeand will work with the FCR35. I was really hoping the stock KLX cable was going to work out. Iam trying to put togethera fewkits for some guys, as well as myself, andwas trying to avoid the custom cable rout to simplify things. The cable has to fit correctly for what we are trying to accomplish.

+1 Thats all I did... cable adjuster flush to the housing on the throttle, and adjusted down at the carb level..
