Iinstalled the springs after everything was tightened because the springs are that tight i needed to use multi grips to pull them into place. I have only use on one the header/mid pipe because the access on the bottom of the pipeis difficult - butused bothsprings to fasten the silencer to the mid pipe because i thought the fit was a bit su****ious - butall was fine.

I do have an airbox lid - but have already trashed teh snorkel - I shall try no airbox lid today - but would really like to keep it for piece of mind. If it runns better without the lid - should i take the clipto the #4 position then put the lid on???

PS..Rum in cans - yes, we have here in Australia a wonderful product called Bundaberg rum (bundy) a true Aussie product with a polar bear logo......dont ask why. It is wondeful stuff.

I think if you move the clip down you'll need more air, so leave the lid off. I know what your saying for piece of mind though. I looked at the airbox today after going through alot of mud on monday...i mean alot, i've never been so caked in mud before, it ruled.

anyway she was covered. just a mess. I'm running the uni cleaner for the second time on it right now but its coming out. also sludge on the bottom of the airbox, i should mod it up somehow to make a drain. i even found small trace of mud on the metal screen! nothing harmful i dont thing, but thats how much i had going. i changed the oil and it wasnt too bad so i'm not worried.

but it runs much better with no lid thats for sure.

i think i've seen rum and cokes in a can before....freakin great idea
