I got a few zeta farkles and such from Webike. Used them for quite a few of my bikes.
Motorcycle Parts & Accessories from Japan - Webike
They are also very good for oem items, if they don't have what you want , ask and they shall find.

Three possibilities are:
  1. Sand and paint the parts with a lime tone paint, like a semi-gloss engine paint. Denny Berg used rattle cans to do the engine highlights on this bike. Nice part is you can always touch them up.
  2. Wet sand parts progressively from 600 to 1500 grit, then buff to a polished finish or just do 600 grit directionally if a brushed finish is preferred, then get some Duplicolor Metal Cast transparent paint, made specifically for this kind of application on cars. Sold at Walmart and car parts stores. The green isn't lime green, but if everything was the same color it would look good.
  3. Prep the parts as if painting as listed in #2, but find a company that anodizes and have it done for you or check on transparent color powder coating since powder is essentially paint so it can be transparent. I also understand anodizing isn't that hard or expensive, but I cannot say that from experience. You'd have to do some research. I'm thinking the process may be a bit messy, parts sizes will depend on containers for the anodizing, and getting the color wanted. Aesthetic Finishers did some ceramic coating for me and were fair. Check around where you live to see if any coating companies do anodizing, some powder coaters may do it or know who can.

Food for thought.

This post is just about engine anodized goodies.. The only bits I can find after several days of looking are:

Oil filler cap (widely available, and comes in green too)

Ignition case inspection caps (less widely available.. comes in green if you order them from China/UK)

Starter cover (Zeta, only comes in gray)

That's it. Of course you can get radiator hoses in any color nowdays. Or like klx678 wrote above you can modify existing parts.

I included how to get anodizing without waiting for some company to make it for you. My doing that with the tensioners was how I got into them. Clean and polish or sand for a brushed finish then see who does anodizing and have them do it in the color you want. Why wait and hope when you can do it for yourself?

You can have your own side covers, cam cover, and any other bits done.
and here is a search for services. No waiting for someone to make it first.

I just ordered the set above. When they come I'll update this thread with fitment issues if any.
These came in today. The big one was labeled Zeta, the small one was unlabeled. Neither came with an o-ring.

Both fit just fine. Forgot to snap pics of the bike, but here are the two plugs in the listing:

Anybody care to see if the new 2018 green anodized KX ignition inspection and oil plug farkles will fit our KLX's? That would look especially cool on the new 2018 FI blacked out model.

KX is totally new clean sheet engine design, more compact since there is either a small or no alternator. The old KLX design will definitely be larger. It's incredible how they shrink down everything for motocrossers.
