Default AFRAID! I might have solved my problem

Just an update on what I got for a motorcycle. Found a 2007 WR450F for the same money as a new KLX250. Superclean IMO, with a TwoBros full system. I already ordered a P4 insert and spark arrester to try to quiet it down a little. I also hope it takes away the chirp I hear at the start of the rev up. Anyone with a 2Bros got any advice?

Took it for a 30 mile spin yesterday and WOW, there's a lot of throttle left after 60 mph - scary fast. Not used to having the front tire come off the ground in third gear either. Still got the KLX so I'll still be lurking around here, if I survive learning to ride the new horse.

Thanks for all the advice.

IIRC the WR is a narrow ratio 5-speed. Any idea what rpm's it's running at 60 mph? I've always fancied the WR line but never bought one because I thought it would be strung out at road speeds - 65 mph around here. And I don't need the extra power offroad.

I'm sure it's lighter, way more powerful and better suspended than the KLX. No doubt.

It is taller, but not unreachable, not on my toes - but I don't think my arches are touching

The weight coupled with the extra CC's has me hanging on for dear life right now. Don't know if I wish I were 20 yrs younger, because 20 yrs ago I might not have had the smarts to not try something that would get me into trouble. Gives ya that tingle in the hinder feeling every once in awhile. (Can I say that?)

Not to good on guesstimating RPM's - 3500-4000??? Like I said lot of throttle, acceleration and power left above 60.

Yes, Deej, bought it street legal for South Dakota. Original owner added the needed accessories. I will have to jump through the hoops again, filling out the affidavit saying it has all the need equipment, when I get my title. It reverts to off-road when selling, which doubled my sales tax.

Anybody know if a Q4 slip-on will fit a 2Bros head? I didn't get the stock exhaust with the bike.
