A search will turn up lots of post I would think. Here's one that I have bookmarked of EMS's install.

What's the sticking point?

I searched around, the trouble I was having was getting the light not to hit the rack. I did some cutting and finally got it. Just a matter of wiring now.

I followed Erics install pics and it helped alot. The only thing I did different was I cut some of the plastic off on the base under the light to make it at a different angle so it sits lower. If you notice mine sits more flat at the top...kinda hard to explain.

I had the acerbis taillight for awhile and really never was crazy about it...... I always liked the original better. Then one day the bike reared and threw me off the back, and ripped the license plate holder and fender off. So I put a new fender on and the original light. This weekend I decided that I needed to put the license plate back on so I did some fabricating.
Started with some 3/16" Aluminum cut to fit, then bent it so that I could tuck it up in the fender. Made a front bracket so that it would mount to the existing mounts, welded it up and put it on. I got some LED license plate mounting bolts and wired them up to the exsisting harness and Wa La! I'm liking the look of it!

Looks good, Gary, but I want to see pictures of your welder that can do aluminum like that. [sm=Flahssssss.gif]

It's just a Miller 160amp Tig machine. It's the operator that does the magic. [sm=exactly.gif]

A little trimming, a little drilling, and about 2/3 of a bottle of cheap wine and wala.......
