Default About Air fuel mixture on klx/Dtracker

Dtracker250(2007)
Recently i have cleaned my carburetor
and i forgot how many turns to do on A/f screw
can u guys help me to turn that air fuel mixture screw (Sry for my bad english)
((Everything is stock except the exhuast))

I'd say 2-2 1/2 turns out from seated should get you in the ballpark.

Isn't the A/F screw a final adj made to the bike?
IMO, it needs to be adj to how the bike is running, not some majic number.

If the fuel screw is not damaged, and the fuel screw seat is not damaged, 2.5 turns out is where you start.
If any of the above ARE damaged from overtightening the screw closed, then fewer turns out will be the "norm"..

All you need to do is set idle to 1250-1300 rpm, and use the screw to achieve the best idle possible. If using a #38 or #40 pilot jet, you set the screw to midway between idle drops.
