I'm getting ready for my 7500miles check up this weekend. What has been the weak spot on the KARC? How much valve wear should be expected? I hope they are in spec, I set them at the loose end of the scale. And for those interested, I have ordered a new stock countershaft sprocket. With 6100miles on it, it looks terrible. I had to change the DID chain last weekend with 6700miles on it, very worn. Please let me know if there are issues that you have come across that I should look at.

 

Hey Tony - if I were you I'd go ahead and replace the rear sprocket as well. The chain, front, and rear sprockets tend to wear together and all will last longer if replaced together.

 

You might take the steering apart and check out those bearings. That is if you washed it every week during the summer like I did.
