So I see in the Want Ads at my workplace (we have an MS Outlook folder for people selling stuff or looking to buy stuff) that one of the people I used to work with (years ago) is selling their Dual Purpose bike.

He bought it right when the gas prices got insane and now wants to get rid of it.

It's a 2006 DRZ400 and it has 125 miles on it. He's asking $4200 (probably less if offered cash, I'd think)

Decent price? I will probably sell the 98YZ250 once I put it back together so I was thinking this would make a nice 2nd bike or 3rd if I decide to keep the Yammy.

What would you offer the guy? (I'm thinking $3800-ish considering the newness factor)

based on that price go from there. since it has 125 miles im guessing he wouldnt wanna go that low cause he had to pay high for it.

 

lol, way too high. the bike is over three years old. offer $3200 and walk if he says no. the regular DRZS is a cheap bike to buy new. I bought a new '06 DRZSM for $5300 and change. And it is a lot more expensive than a regular DRZS.
