351 and Pumper Carb - Got 'er Done!

I like it!!!


My break in period was short
Warmed it up, Rev'd it alittle, shut it down and cooled it off.
Warmed it up, Kept it under 6K for 2 miles, diong the accel decel thing.
Then bumped it up to under 7k rpm for 2 more miles same thing and colled it off.
Then warmed it up, and rode it like I stole it!!!!

Yeeehaaa. it has got some torque now.

 

Can't wait to get the 351 kit!

Sweeeet. I'd like to try a 351 with the carb to see the differences. My bike runs so good I'm afraid to mess with the carb!

I did a 331 kit from Bill and was never happier with the bike- I can only imagine the 351 is just more fun! I also had a fcr and a fourstroke works header and slip on- Did you add a header or slip on?

 

Awesome! If my motor ever blows up, I'm gonna look for a 500 CC motor and adapt it in there.

 

Deej: I had a Big Gun for awhile, but it was too loud for me.
I am running the KLX300 system now. A little loud, but nowhere near the BigGun.
The big gun had better top end, and the KLX300 has better Bottom. IMHO...

I like the Bottom anyway. I had choked the BigGun slightly to help it improved the backpress and hence the bottom end.... That worked... but in the end it was headache inducing loud

I still wear ear plugs when I ride.... *wimp*? Maybe...

I have 12 miles on the 351cc. Takng it to the desert next weekend. I'll bring the camera to post a few pics.
