I noticed in 2005 and up the klx 300 has a different cam part number. Has anyone tried this? Be a cheap upgrade if the exhaust cam would unleash some extra power or torque. The intakes are the same parts in 250 or 300. A set of web camshaft would be awesome but not all have awesome wallets to go with it.

 

No such luck, bro. The only change is to the ACR (Automatic Compression Release) timing. It makes the KLX300 easier to kick start and relieves some pressure on the idle gear when doing so. We don't have to worry about that with electric start.

Absolutely no performance difference though. The grind is exactly the same.
