Default 250 to 300

Okay, so I've done jetting, 125 main, N1TC needle and 40 pilot ( and it runs great)airbox smog and associated bull.(HMF slipon)

Well now I think it's time to go to a 292 can someone tell me the jetting setup for this jug? Really Really don't want to take the carb out more than once! Especially that damn diaphram that takes a half hour to get back in!
I would like to start ordering parts through the winterso I can get it together for the spring.

From the research that I have done at your elevaton (700ft) if you are using OEM Keihin parts a #132 main would be at the leanest side but depending on your exhaust and other mods you may go as high as a #140 and stick with the #40 pilot.

Thanks ZX, I guess I'll run towards the 140 or close to it. One more question should I move the needle up one slot, it's on the second one from the top now.

When I went to 300 I went to the Dynojet kit & have'nt been happier. Took carb out to disassemble engine, put it kit---done!

What did you end-upusing for jet sizes? A few guysI know that went with the 292ccjug and high performance cams only had to bump-up the main jet to the next higher number from what they were using on the 249cc. Both had flat-side pumpers though.

132 DJ, DJ needle on 4th grrove from top, stock pilot, 2.5 turns on fuel screw, enlarged slide hole with DJ bit, PC 496 muffler on 300 stock header, no lid. With the quick turn throttle I am done with power mods. Only thing left for me is if I go full SM with 17" wheels or just stick with street tires on OEM rims.

Wow, fourth from top. Sounds like the CVK requires abit more of a jumpthan the pumpers do...unless you added the 496 and opened the air box a bit more when you went to 292cc.
