Oh man, I kick myself daily for not already owning a 950 super enduro..

 

I just got the KLX650 out from winterized - nearly two months of on and off rain kind of put it off. It was fun to feel the power again. Weight is still there too, but oh on the road... I've got to scrounge up the money to get the 17s laced up!

 

Yeah, well, if you were me, you only lost 2 months of Spring riding. I haven't had a real ride in 2 months due to heat and humidity. Won't start riding again till September when weather cools off enough to enjoy riding. Man I hate Summer.

 

Mid July there were 29 days with rain over the previous total of 35 days. Monsoon for Ohio. Definitely not good for any sort of ride planning, since I don't particularly care to do recreational riding soaked to the bone.

 

I hear ya, me either. Only rode in wet conditions back in my racing days. Now, only joy riding at 52, I don't even ride in heat. I do most of my riding in Spring and Fall. If I'm not enjoying myself, I don't ride, period....

 

Any luck? Does it bog at wide open throttle at low speed or just at high rpm regardless of speed? If only at high rpm then it could also be an ignition problem.(CDI / voltage regulator)
