Hey guys,

Do anybody know if the 2009 klx 250 headlight assembly will fit the 2006 klx 250s. or can it be modified to fit or so on... thanx ppl. I think it would look sweet.

 

it wouldn't really look right. the '09's front fender has lines that continue into the light shroud. the '06 light looks right on the '06, the '09 wouldn't. jmo, but I've owned both years.

 

I know Redbrd put a KLX450 headlight on his plus replaced the front fender with something that works with it.

 

could you put 06 or 07 headlight on an 09?

 

An '09 or later headlight is not a direct bolt-on to an '06/'07, but it can be made to work. The '09's bracket needs to be modified first, both to fit the triple clamps, and to fit the analog gauges.







Expect the same amount of work to go the other way - '06 headlight on an '09 or newer KLX.

 

Where did you get that fender? can I get the same fender in black?

and did you paint your frame black as well? your bike looks amazing

 

Thanks! The front fender is for a 2012 Kawasaki KX450F. It bolts right up. My fender is an OEM Kawasaki part, but UFO sells them in green, white, and black... UFO Plastics
