As the title says, I'm looking for a stock klx250s/sf headlight for my 2005 klx 300 project. I had bought one on eBay and the seller apparently sold it from their local store before they took their eBay ad down. So I'm on the hunt again.
I know some of you guys have replaced your stock units with aftermarket so you must have a stocker laying around. Let me know what you got.

think the stock klx250sf headlight looks pretty good already...haven't seen anyone replace it unless they crashed....

why not just by a universal unit for $58.50 like Polisport MMX Motorcycle Headlight Universal Enduro | eBay

Be careful if you're going to go with an aftermarket headlight. Make sure the headlight uses an H4 bulb. A lot of these headlights use a cheap 35W BA20D bulb, which is nothing more than a glorified tail light bulb and not bright at all...

It's nearly impossible to convert a headlight designed for a BA20D bulb to an H4 bulb, and even if you pull it off, the extra heat from the H4 will probably melt the housing. Just my 2 pesos, but I've learned this through researching my headlight options. An H4 headlight is what you want.

 

Thanks guys, but i have no interest in an aftermarket headlight. i really need to find an oem item. I'm very surprised that no one on this forum has one for sale, and i try to check eBay every few hours per day to no avail.

 

Also remember that the 09 headlight mounting frame isn't the same design as your earlier mounting frame....
