Where are you in So Cal? I am north of San Diego, Carlsbad area and currently in the market for a bike.

 

$3000 is a stretch for a bike that sells for less than a thousand more for a new one. You can ask $3000, but you'll surely need to negotiate to make the sale.

 

If you're not desperate to sell I'd put it on Craigslist (or wherever) for what you feel it's worth. You only need one buyer willing to pay what you want. Seems to me that your bike as described, with less than 1000 miles might bring $3500-3800. Kawi website shows them new for $4999.00 (I know some were selling leftovers for less).

In general I also prefer all stock used vehicles but I certainly would consider paying more for a 351 bike if it sounded/looked right.

For sure - the bikes sell for more in Canada but new list is about $1000 more than the US list. After you get over the extra $1000 bucks don't forget the extrem tax rate - oh well still a great place to live
