looking to sell 2009 KLX 250s
Hey guys, Haven't been here in a while. You guys helped me build my bike back in spring. I am looking to sell it so I can use the money to buy a KLX 300 (lighter!!!! and more power and loved my 2000) and a bike for my youngest son. I did all the normal mods except change the exhaust and kept the factory gearing. Protaper bars, Acerbis barkbusters, grips, KDX air box snorkel, Air filter, Dynojet jet kit, skidplate using all your guys advice. Any ideas for the best place to sell.
Its a 2009 with 1200 miles, plastics have normal scratches from riding trails. It has done a great job for someone who like to ride trails and street. Thinking of asking $3750 what do you think?
Thanks

Not sure where you are selling it at but I think you'd have a tough time getting that. I just old mine for $3200 with more farkles and 7220 miles. Hopefully you can get blue book ~ $3400. Good luck.

Hey Dawg, look at this ad and then price accordingly. He's really put a lot into it. I think yours might be in the $3,000 range.

$3499 is what I paid for my '09 NEW, in March of 2011. Had 0 miles and a 1 year waranty... You may have trouble getting that much if buyers are smart and look to their Kawi dealers for "left-overs" at great prices.

$2,800 to $3,200 is the norm i've seen for 2009+ klx250s/sf...the sf fetches little more in california, $3,000 to $3,200...the s usually little less, $2,800 to $3,000, probably from the dirt rash....most are all low mileage from people that buy it and think it's too weak...most have the typical jetting and slip-on as a minimum....
i've seen a super clean, never dropped and fully upgraded 2009 klx250s sell for your asking price price...professionally installed kustom kraft 330 big bore...acerbis 3.4 gallon fuel tank...skid plate...handguards...gel seating...and, every possible upgrade you can imagine...
