RE: 2009 13-tooth sprocket- '06/'07 fits fine
Awesome report on the 13 tooth on the 09. Looks great. I only have one comment. I hate those adjusters. Every bike I had or a friend had or that I have seen, end up rounding off those things. I absolutely love the snail adjusters. I'm not sure how long they have been around, and yes they are not as adjustable since you have to settle for the next notch, but its a great trade off not screwing up that small bolt on the MX style adjuster. And really with the snails you know you are exactly the same on both sides, no brain-er if you will. The other style you have to go back and forth making sure. Anyway, don't get offended that I don't like something, If I bought the 09 bike I'm sure that would be very low on the list of why I didn't like the bike, that's assuming there was a list to begin with and I doubt there would be one. Great job man.
Hey question, not to jack, and this a little embarrassing, I only know how to post pics using either the address of a random picture on the net, or linking one from photobucket, but I don't have a clue on how to post a picture like the ones above. That could save some time not having to upload to photobucket and then having to link plus think I am reaching my limit on photobucket. I have nearly 800 pics in my album.

Can you clarify something?
The Moose part number for the 06-07 is 1212-0073 according to this page:
http://mooseracing.com/pdf/sprocketsaluminum.pdf
I bought this... it does not fit. It goes on, but the width is too great so the lock washer doesn't fit back on.
The part number you reference 1212-0198 is for the Honda 600. In your photos, you show it fitting on the spline, but do not show the lock washer fitting. Can you verify that you did use the lock washer before I purchase the 0198 unit?
Thanks,

I understand exactly what he ordered... but the photo doesn't look like there was room for the lock washer.
Did you order this too? Is it actually on the bike, with the lock washer back on too?

I didn't mean to come off snotty...sorry.
i thought you meant don't use the extra part that comes with the NEW sprocket?
However, that seems kind of silly... to skip the lockwasher? A front sprocket coming off can hurt.
Guess I'll wait until the correct part becomes available.

the sprocket that i installed comes with sprocket and lock washer. the lock washer that came with it was not used. i installed teh correct sprocket. the washer that bends over teh nut is all that is on there.

So you DO have a lock washer on?
And you're positive the lock washer is ON THE SPLINES... not just sitting in front of the splines and bent over? (in which case it is not "locking" anything.)
Did you install yourself or a dealer did it?

The sprocket has a shoulder on one side, orone side sticks out further. It WILL NOT FIT if this shoulder is on the outside of the bike. It must go against the engine and I'm assuming you have it backwards if youhave no room for the washer and nut to thread on. In my instructions I stated clearly that this shoulder has to be against the cases to fit properly. Check on it. If it still doesn't fit, then Moose has their part #'s wrong. Here is a pic I just took showing you the lock washer. I haven't finalized installation, meaning I still need to bend the washer totally against the nut but for a test ride this was okay. Also, the washer does not fit on the splines, it would be chewed up in no time and really it isn't necessary. The washer itself is pretty strong steel and once bent over the nut, it won't move. The washer bent over the sides of the nut keep everything from coming loose.
