From the looks of the drawings...mine is backwards.
How does an '06-'07' route the line from the caliper up?
I'm guessing the fork guard tab is different as is the line brace/guide thing I have.
It's hard to see but my line runs right behind the bleeder, up to the line brace/guide, between the wheel and fork leg, and up to the the guard tab, and then into the fork guard brake line clamp. My line has the perfect length to the clamp, as there is an extra rubber boot over the hard casing to fit inside the clamp.
My front brake works f'ing awesomely. Way more power and much better modulation.

It is vulnerable there, but for years that's the way all the Japanese companies except Honda had to route brakes on bikes with inverted forks. Crazy as it may seem, Honda had a Japanese patent on "straight shot" routing of front brake lines with inverted forks. That patent finally expired around 2006-ish, and since then all the manufacturers have switched to what is now conventional routing.
